'When Stuart and I met on BikeHike Adventures Costa Rica Ultimate Adventure Medley in March 2005, there was an obvious connection; however, he was an Australian living in London, and I was (and still am) in Houston. I didn’t think it could ever develop into anything serious but we got along so well by the end of the trip that we decided to try a long distance romance between Houston and London over the summer. In November, Stuart moved to Houston and we married in February. One of the nice things about an adventure tour versus a regular vacation is that it shows much more of someone’s character: silliness, athleticism, leadership, competitiveness, etc. We learned a lot about each other in ten days, and we’ll continue to learn more—especially teamwork!!'
