Act Now! B.C. West Coast Trail Almost Sold out for 2009

The summer 2009 dates for Backpacking the West Coast Trail in British Columbia, Canada have just been released and will definitely sell out in the next 2 months. There is very high demand for this trip and extremely limited space due to park restrictions on the number of people who can hike the trail per day. If you are interested in booking space on one of these departures, don't wait.

The West Coast Trail is one of the most spectacular and demanding hikes in North America. It is also one of the most beautiful stretches of rugged wilderness left in the world. It was developed as a rescue trail for shipwreck survivors in the early 20th century and today is a world famous backpacking classic and part of Pacific Rim National Park. The trail is 75 km (47 miles) long offering a great deal of diversity from soaring sea stacks, ancient trees, and sandy beaches to cascading waterfalls, shipwreck relics and First Nations culture.
