BikeHike Adventures has just returned from attending the Adventure Travel World Summit, located in Seattle, Washington. We absolutely love this summit, because it's a gathering of the top tour operators, destination representatives, media personnel, and technology experts in our industry. The 3-day event kicked off with a day of rafting down the Skagit River, and then it was 2-days of seminars on sustainablity, global warming, protecting indigenous populations, risk management, getting through the maze of the ever changing internet, technology, etc. The presenters were some of the most influential executives in the adventure travel industry from all over the world.
